Want to learn more about gardening in the San Antonio area? Want to refresh your knowledge about your garden? Want to obtain information from people who know what to do in the San Antonio area?
Now is your chance to do all of this from your computer. Gardening Volunteers of South Texas will present their WaterSaver Landscape Design School in May. This will be a series of six classes presented on Zoom. The classes are to be presented on May 10, 12, 17, 19, 24 and 26. These are morning classes from 10:30 am to noon. The class limit will be fifty so be sure to register early.
As an addition to this Zoom class, we will send you the four books that would usually be given at our in-person class. Sending you the books will allow you to follow along during the presentations and make notes in our booklet as the classes are presented. The information in the books you will receive is for the San Antonio area.
There will be a small fee of $30.00 for the six classes that will not only provide the instruction and books, but will allow the participants to have a GVST consultant come to their home. This will be a no contact visit. The consultant and participant will talk after the visit on what ideas the participant has and what personal suggestions the consultant would make.
In the past, our classes have been in person. We wish to get back to the in-person format but in the meantime, we will provide these virtual classes to keep you in the know about gardening, with instruction and time for questions and answers.
