We are pleased to have a representative of the Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy speak to us on the history of the park and the current activities that are being held at there. Located on the Wurzbach Parkway between Blanco and Northwest Military, the park hosts many gardening related activities year round. GVST has hosted the Landscape Design School at the Urban Ecology Center located on Northwest Military.

The Conservancy aims to provide advocacy and financial support toensure that the community’s vision for the historic property that is Phil Hardberger Park is realized. This includes uniting the park with the construction of a Land Bridge. Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy acts as a liaison with the city of San Antonio on behalf of the patrons of the park and the members of the Conservancy.

Joining us from Trinity Glen Rose is General Manager, George Wissman and Administrator Emily Green to discuss their vision on how we can be good stewards of our resources as a gardening community.

Hope to see everyone there!
