Join us for our April Gardening Essentials Class, where we bring you the most knowledgeable gardening educators from South Texas! This months speakers are:
Dr. Larry Stein is one of San Antonio’s most prominent educators when it comes to helping gardeners and producers stay at the forefront of modern agriculture practices and ahead of constant challenges by teaching new techniques. As a professor and program leader in horticultural sciences, Dr. Stein has received recognition for his “Texas Superstar” Plants and multiple awards by AgriLife Extension. He will be sharing his extensive gardening knowledge and answer questions.
Gary Poole is the Conservation and Adult Programs Specialist at San Antonio Botanical Gardens, and is a Master Naturalist. Using real world examples of Botanical Gardens use of water conservation, Gary will teach you how to be water savvy and still have an amazing garden!
