We have two scholarships that assist individuals in furthering their education in the field of horticulture and conserving our natural resources. They are the Dr. Tom Harris Scholarship and the Colonel Margorie Ann Ferrandino Scholarship.

Assist with current Zoom Essentials classes (Chat Room: reply to questions from participants, Create and/or produce materials for Zoom Essentials classes and Webinars: script, photography, filming, editing).

Assist with future person-to-person Essentials classes (sign-in desk, obtain speakers, audio visual technician, set up computer for speakers, filming, editing, photography, setup displays, take down displays).

Work at future person-to-person Events, including selling plants, merchandise and/or books (answer plant questions, landscape consultant, Ask the Expert table, photography, videography, setup event, take down event).

Choice 1Plan or help with WaterSaver Tour (planning, help identify potential homes, house docent, audio visual technician, videography, photography, obtain raffle prizes).

Plan or help with Landscape Design School (planning, consultant, audio visual technician, videography, photography, setting up, taking down).

Join Speakers Team, i.e., give presentations to Essentials Classes, gardening organizations or at Events, assist with take down.

Join NewsLetter Workgroup ( write articles for Newsletter and social media, submit photos and interesting links).

Update GVST website and Facebook pages.

Help produce and edit the GVST Directory.
